Donate Food

Help Us Continue a 36-Year Legacy of Feeding Our Community

MCREST has provided three meals a day, every single day, since 1988—that’s more than 36 years of nourishing men, women, and children experiencing homelessness. Food donations play a crucial role in making this possible. Whether you contribute pantry staples, fresh ingredients, or a prepared meal, your support helps ensure that no one in our care goes hungry while they work toward independence. Every tray, every item, and every pound of food stretches our resources and directly impacts lives.

“I would gladly turn over my kitchen to a team that wants to help with breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This initiative helps subsidize our budget, ensuring we can continue to serve our guests. We always need: bulk pasta, No. 10 cans of tomato sauce or vegetables, peanut butter and jelly, white bread and buns, frozen ground beef, hot dogs, hamburgers, powdered drink mixes, and bulk cereals or snacks. We need these items all the time. Your support keeps our meals nutritious, reliable, and welcoming.”

Calling All Restaurant Owners

Turn Surplus Food Into a Lifeline — Not Waste

Every day, high-quality meals are discarded across the county. But with your help, that excess food can nourish individuals and families who truly need it.

Restaurants can donate unused, safely stored hot or frozen meals in 4” deep pans—an easy, convenient option that immediately supports our mission.

Donated meals must feed at least 50 people.

Jay makes the process seamless by coordinating pickups directly from your location.
