MCREST assists guests who qualify with security deposits and up to six months of rental assistance through our Rapid Rehousing Program. After three months of assistance, former guests must pay a portion of their rent based on their income at that time. Any unit the guest moves into must fall under Fair Market Rent (FMR). Fair Market Rent is determined each fiscal year by the HUD and is used to set payment standards for federal housing assistance programs.
