It's our 30th birthday.

We cordially invite you to celebrate with us.

It's a landmark year for us. And we want to celebrate you: our partners and supporters. MCREST is a network of care, each and every link in our chain is fundamental to our success. Join us for an evening where we will not only honor those who've made MCREST what it is today, but look forward as we share our plans to build a better future together.

We value our member churches. This night is for you.

We are indebted to our seventy member churches, with scores of good-hearted individuals giving their time, energy, and resources week after week. The safety net created by you all has kept our clients lifted for three decades without missing a beat.

By the nature of our programs, our member churches never have their paths cross. Each church is a sturdy tree and together compose a mighty and beautiful forest. Our desire is for you to share in each other and the strong sense of Christian community that we have created.

Have your church coordinator reach out to Eneida Haijou for a special access code unlocking a greatly reduced group rate for a table of eight. It's our way of saying thank you and keeping our tent big as possible.     •     586-447-2896

We've got plans.

MCREST 's Journey Home program assists families in their transition from homelessness back to housing and self-reliance. Soon the program will expand to a new facility in Mount Clemens! We have purchased and remediated the building, now we're in the midst of a capital campaign to complete our vision. After the planned renovations, this beautiful space will contain seven guestrooms, a children's playroom, a tasteful common area, a learning and resource center, laundry facilities, and a quality kitchen and dining area.

Learn how you can help us achieve our goal.

Are you new to MCREST?

First off, welcome!

We're glad that you found us.

Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team (MCREST) works with our seventy-member churches to host Macomb County's homeless population 365 days each year. We also provide meals, housing assistance, job readiness training amongst other resources.
